Fantasy and adventure lovers alike are welcomed back to Two Point County as the local museums open new exhibits to uncover. Equipped with new items, locations and guests to find, it’s time to dust off our dinosaur bones and analyse the latest DLC for Two Point Museum.

What’s In The Box?
The Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds DLC includes a new expedition map set in a fantasy world. Alongside new experts, dangers, guests and puzzles, there are over 40 new exhibits for you to uncover, and some fun obstacles to overcome.
This DLC also includes a decent number of items and decorations to enhance your exhibits, plus a few new features, exclusive to this map.

Expert Adventurers
There are four expert types added with Fantasy Finds. The Barbarian, the bard, the wizard and the rogue. Each expert has their latent abilities and bonuses depending on their class, which are then used to overcome expedition dangers when heading out in the field.
This is a fun system, but it makes it hard to get started with the Fantasy Finds line if you’re still early on in your campaign. I managed to sneak it into a museum that was around rank 10, but it was a struggle.

Gain Experience
Two Point Museum already has an EXP system for your staff, but Fantasy Finds adds a new levelling mechanic similar to TTRPGs. By clicking on your staff member, you can bring up the sub-menu and give bonus points to strength, dexterity, intelligence, or luck. This then boosts their stats to help them during expeditions.

Expedition Quests
In place of a new museum location, you get a story in the form of map quests. A little goblin appears on your screen to guide you through this land as you go off on a quest to defeat the dragon. It’s cute and funny, but continues the same theme of silent dialogue boxes from previous stages.
Due to the heavy resource requirement of these expeditions, I can understand why they didn’t make a new museum location for this DLC. I was still a little disappointed we didn’t get a fantasy-themed location, but the free Pointy Mountains location eased the blow somewhat.
The challenge of trying to level up my adventurers and combine their stats to avoid dangers was engaging. Each new location presented a puzzle as I tried to find the correct combinations to save my crew and get the best loot. Thankfully, there were some new tools to help with this.

Equipped For Success
Alongside a heavy arsenal of new items to display, you can also uncover mythical equipment items. These can be placed on display or given to your adventurers to give them stat buffs at the expense of your empty display taking up space somewhere in the museum. The items had funny meme names and D&D references, but also made a huge difference to my stats.
This Fantasy Finds DLC also adds a new staff training skill: Potion Making. You can level this skill up to level three, allowing experts to create potions to buff your adventurers even further. You’ll need to uncover these recipes on the map first, but they were worth the effort even if they were expensive to craft. There are also some other workshop tools to discover and unlock through researching the new exhibit items.

Rolling High
Fantasy Finds is a great addition to the Two Point Museum game. It has a lot of hours worth of playtime and additional content to make it worth the price tag, but doesn’t change the heavy grind aspect of the core gameplay. I loved the new exhibit puzzle, even though I did solve it by accident, and the fantasy items looked super cool in my museum.

A fun and engaging expansion.
