Do you look at your computer desktop and think, “Boy, howdy, is this boring”? Or perhaps something akin to, “This screen needs more shop”? Well then, dear reader, allow me to invite you to yet another Mashashy review of a bottom-of-the-screen game: Tiny Capsule Collector.

Place It
Tiny Capsule Collector is a mini-management sim where you place gacha machines for customers to spend their money. Customers will start arriving and idly serving themselves while you return to whatever task you’re working on.
Starting with an empty lot, it’s up to you how you decorate and organise it. Choose your favourite items and buy them from the shop menu, then use the mouse and keyboard to place and resize them however you want. I haven’t played with it much since I maxed out my lot with gacha machines, but it’s a cute feature that lots of players will appreciate.

Pop It
You can also collect the toys from each machine. In fact, you will need to do so to unlock new sets to sell to your customers. Having a collector’s book to fill out is super cute and gave me something to work towards. I also liked that the customer list tells you how to unlock the ones you are missing.
The collector side isn’t too grindy, which I appreciated, and it didn’t cost too much to play. I felt like unlocking the extra sets and customers was pretty reasonable too.

Twitch It
I tried out the Twitch integration and found no issues with the setup or connectivity. Your viewers can use “!visit” to claim a customer and walk into your screen to purchase a gacha of their own.
A lot of my regulars really enjoyed this feature, but were a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a Twitch tracker of some kind for them to collect alongside me. I realise this might be a big ask, but Lurk Bait and a few other apps have something similar, and it would be nice to see it here.
Upgrade It
Each gacha machine can be edited to change the set and colour, and upgraded for better efficiency. These upgrades will auto-restock machines, make customers more likely to choose them and increase the frequency of rarer drops. This makes the grind for rare gacha toys much easier and more enjoyable.
There’s also a toy trader where you can spend four duplicate toys to get one potentially rarer drop. This seemed to work better for me if I used four toys of the same rarity to try to get the next one up, but it wasn’t always guaranteed.

Love It
The cosy vibes and relaxing music make Tiny Capsule Collector a brilliant workplace companion. I could leave it running while streaming and working without it derailing my progress too much. The achievements are mostly linked to completing sets, and I still have quite a few left to go after 20 hours of gameplay.
